I love Paw Haven. When we moved to the area it was important for us to find a good vet. Paw Haven has been amazing every time we go. The staff is friendly and explains everything even pricing.

Great customer service. The doctor and nurse and staff were all kind and attentive. I brought my 12 year old shi zu and my 4 year old cat. The visit was straight forward and I knew of all the fees ahead of time. No surprises.

On 6/23/26 I went to Paw Haven to get a 2nd opinion about my dog's lip warts. Dr. Caleb Sutton listened to my concerns about sedation and found a solution that didn't involve sedation or pain for my dog. I can get caring and warmth from any vet, what I found at this vet was a willingness to address my concerns and my dog's comfort through research and good medical practice. I'm changing all of my dogs to this practice, they deserve good medical practices as well as ethical diligence. Thank you for helping Moto!

I was looking for a place to take my dog (Jade) to get her checked out because she was itching a lot, but I was referred to this place by my neighbor. I was nervous at first coming in for my first appointment, but the staff was very welcoming and friendly. They are well informed and educate customers on your dogs needs. Ever since the first visit, Jade has been doing much better and has little to no itching. Her paws were bright pink before and now they are white with no missing patches of fur. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that is unsure of where to get their dog or cats checked out.

UPDATE:
Spent thousands of dollars on my cat. After all was said and done, we were supposed to come back in for a check up. I got extremely sick and they told me I can reschedule his visit. Called today to finally reschedule and they claim “it’s been too long” and I have to pay again for the visit.
Highly disappointed but doesn’t surprise me because every time I visited they kept adding more and more “fees”. While they did save my cat (even though they tried hard to talk me into putting him down), they’ve lost my business at this point. I spent thousands and you can’t honor the simple check up that many of you said comes with what I have already paid for and agreed I can reschedule??? Nope! Too many red flags now.

They truly brought our kitty back to life—we are FURever grateful for their quick and compassionate care. After returning from a 9-day vacation, one of our cats was in very poor condition after staying with a new pet sitter. We believe he may not have been properly cared for during that time and super dehydrated. Needless to say, we will not be using that pet sitter service again. We were referred here by several people on Facebook, and from the moment we arrived, the team acted immediately. They admitted him right away and began treatment without delay and was upfront about the entire process (esp with how bad he was). He spent several days on IV fluids and receiving intensive care, and thanks to them, he is now doing MUCH better. We may still be facing surgery later this week if he doesn’t fully recover, but we are incredibly hopeful.
We are beyond thankful to Dr. Glass, Orange, and the entire team—Emilee, Mark, Katlyn, Crystal, and the amazing receptionist, Lee. Their dedication, urgency, and compassion made all the difference, especially during a time when we truly didn’t think he would make it.
Because of them, both of our kitties are alive and well. We can’t thank you enough. ❤️

My dog is 15 years old and has been coming to paw haven going on 6 years now and they have done so much for him, down to regular check ups to surgeries. I have always walked out feeling relieved. I want to shoutout Aubree, one of their vet techs. Since she first met my dog she was extremely kind, personable and her energy felt genuine, I immediately I knew my dog was in safe hands. She has always made our experiences better in the way that she comforted my dog, was super knowledgeable regarding my questions and just helpful all around! I am so glad that paw haven has the pleasure of having a vet tech who is able to do her job exceptionally well and for that she deserves this recognition, thank you Aubree for everything!!

I had a hard time finding a local vet that was accepting new patients. I called them, and although they didn’t have any openings at their Winter Haven location, they let me know they were accepting new patients at their Lakeland location.
The staff was wonderful—pleasant, attentive, and very professional. I’m so glad I found them, and I’ll definitely continue bringing my fur-baby here. I highly recommend this place! 🐾❤️

My Rottweiler is a rescue so she is very afraid of being handled by strangers. The vet tech was excellent and very kind and understanding. The Veterinarian was also patient with scribbles. It was a wonderful experience for me.

We are very thankful for Winter Haven Paw Haven Animal Hospital and all of the staff memebers. We have 2 very sick cats who fell very ill all a few weeks apart and Dr Sutton was able to get them both diagnosed with an uncommon illness, and subsequent treatment started very quickly when it was critical to their survival. He is a phenomenal vet in his knowledge, skill, and bedside manner, and has been both incredible in his ability to provide education for 2 scared cat parents who will have to navigate a long course of medication at home now for two cats, and in his quickness in understanding the combination of symptoms for an illness they had not seen in the office for a few years at a minimum. Both techs we have worked with were gentle with both of our babies and extremely caring and comforting with my husband and I at every visit we have made during the beginning stages of this illness. Dr Blackburn went above and beyond during a follow up with our first diagnosed girl to help me find very specific information on dosing instructions that were unclear for a very expensive medication tbat wasting or not being effective want an option, and helped me to find vet level info online in order to track certain parameters at home so we could skip a weekly visit which would be expensive for 2 cats over 12 weeks of medication. And last but definitely not least, Lee at the front desk has been so compassionate and helpful whether I have been in yhe office physically or calling in with questions or to provide info to the vet staff about our cats. They have made me feel comfortable and like my anxious questions weren't too much and has helped in making sure information is given to the vets very quickly and answers back to me on questions the same. I cant say enough positive things about every person we have interacted with in this office during a very scary and frankly critical time for our 2 ill cats. There are a lot of reputable knowledge veterinarians in Polk Co but if you are looking for a provider these guys have locations in both Winter Haven and Lakeland and they will do everything they can to help you and your pet in the event of injury or illness and keep them healthy and well all other times. This office definitely has been conscious of cost for their patients owners as well at each visit, and will do everything they can to help your pet while keeping the financial impact as low as is possible. Our situation required several diagnostic tests and labs at first and the treatment following diagnosis is also expensive as well, and thats just fir one cat but we have ended up with 2 with the same diagnosis of an uncommon illness, but everyone at Paw Haven has worked with us to ensure we are getting medications at the lowest possible price point and that visits are possible for 2 cats with a dangerous illness without emptying the wallet for any future needs. Thank you Dr Sutton, Dr Blackburn, Dr Orange, Mark and Lee and the rest of Paw Haven Winter Haven. We appreciate you and recommend your office to everyone who has a pet.

Absolutely love taking my puppy here. Everyone is so nice and professional. My puppy loves coming to vet due to getting all treats and special treatment she gets. I use the snout puppy program which is a cost about $45 a month but all of her vets visit are free with vaccine and bloodwork since I pay the monthly cost.

I had a great experience at Paw Heaven Animal Hospital. From the front desk staff to the doctor, everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. My cat is very nervous, but they handled her with so much care that the whole visit felt smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciated how patient and gentle they were. Highly recommend!

I just started taking my dog Rudy here, and I couldn't be happier with the care I recieved. From the moment we walked in everyone was so kind and gentle and welcoming. They truly treated Rudy like family and made sure he was comfortable he was in so much pain. The vet explained everything clearly and answered all are questions without rushing. You can tell they truly care about the animals and there parents.Rudy usually is very anxious but he was calm with them that says alot! I am so grateful to have found such a caring and professional vet and staff highly recommend to anyone who wants the best for their pet. Prices are reasonable also. Truly so happy.
